From Airbnb to Self-Storage: Building Long-Term Wealth Through Real Estate and Better Systems

Building What Lasts
Some months are measured by the deals you close.
Others are measured by what you build behind the scenes.
July was one of those months.
Instead of chasing the next opportunity, I focused on building stronger assets, improving the systems behind my business, and laying the groundwork for long-term growth. None of it happened overnight, but every project moved me one step closer to where I want this business to be.
Here's what I've been working on.
A New Airbnb Is Live in Downtown Dallas

After months of planning and preparation, Victor and I officially launched our first Airbnb units in Downtown Dallas.
One of them is Ervay Loft 307, located in the heart of downtown. It's close to restaurants, entertainment, and business districts, making it a great place for both business travelers and weekend visitors. The building includes a full kitchen, in-suite laundry, a dedicated workspace, a pool, fitness centre, clubhouse, and even a cinema room.
Getting these units ready wasn't just about furnishing an apartment. It was about adding another income-producing asset to the portfolio and learning what it takes to build a successful short-term rental business.
Every property teaches something, and every project helps shape the next one.

BAM Stack Is Officially Here
For years, I've been building the systems I use to keep my business organized.
Whenever I found myself repeating the same task, I looked for a better way to do it. Lead follow-up, automations, client communication, task management, and keeping everything in one place became a priority because I knew relying on memory wasn't sustainable.
Over time, those systems turned into something much bigger.
That eventually became BAM Stack.
It's built for investors and entrepreneurs who want a better way to run their business, stay on top of opportunities, and spend less time buried in repetitive work.
The software is only part of it. My goal is to help people build systems they actually use so they can spend more time growing their business and less time trying to keep everything organized.
I'm excited to finally share more about BAM Stack, why I built it, and how it's helping investors and business owners create better systems.

Expanding Into Self-Storage

Another project that's been keeping me busy is a self-storage acquisition just north of Edmonton.
The facility has close to 200 units and plenty of room for improvement. The plan is simple. Improve operations, take care of customers, and build another reliable income-producing asset.
I've wanted to add self-storage to my portfolio for a while because it fits the long-term direction I'm building toward. It's a different asset class, but the goal remains the same: build quality assets that create steady cash flow over time.
There's still work ahead before everything is finalized, but I'm looking forward to sharing more as the project moves forward.

Why Systems Matter

One thing became even clearer this month.
Businesses rarely struggle because people don't work hard enough.
They struggle because follow-ups get missed. Information gets buried. Tasks fall through the cracks. Eventually, everyone starts relying on memory instead of having a system.
I've seen it happen in rental businesses, investing businesses, and just about every small business I've worked with.
That's why I've invested so much time into building processes that make sure the important things happen every time.
Good systems don't replace relationships.
They create more time for them.
If you're curious about the systems I use every day to stay organized and keep my business moving, you'll find more details on my website.
Looking Ahead
Every project this month points in the same direction.
Building stronger assets.
Building better systems.
Creating more freedom over time.
There's still plenty of work ahead, and that's exactly how I like it.
Thank you for following along and being part of what I'm building.
